Ashland is a warm and inviting place, there is a beautiful spirit that is brought by the kind and generous souls that form this community. When visiting us feel free to participate in as much or as little as makes you comfortable. You can join us by worshiping with us Sundays at 10:30 am or by joining in one of our many mission projects.
What can I expect when visiting?
Ashland is a loving community of people who are passionate about their faith in service to God and one another. You will find music that is joyful, inspiring, and heartfelt through traditional organ and choir, as well as a worship band that leads us in ancient and modern music alike. Sermons are thought-provoking that incorporate scripture into everyday life. Modern multimedia tools mixed with traditional worship elements allow for a full-body experience of faith. Children are always welcome in worship and can find activity books in the back. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month and the Lord’s Table is welcome to all who wish to receive. After worship please join us for fellowship so we can get to know you better.
What Covid modifications can I expect?
It is vitally important that we protect the most vulnerable among us from the current pandemic. Masks are required for both vaccinated and unvaccinated persons alike. If you are uncomfortable wearing a mask please feel free to join us online. You will find our worship leaders unmasked while speaking and singing, they are all fully vaccinated and are more than 12 feet away from the congregation while doing so. We social distance and have removed elements of the service that require direct contact. Fellowship Hour and Christian Education for children and youth have also been suspended for the time being.
What should I wear?
At Ashland, you will find people wearing what they are most comfortable with when worshiping God. Some arrive in their “Sunday best” and others in blue jeans. The important thing is that you are welcome here, wear what makes you comfortable.
Where do I go when I arrive?
When you arrive for worship you may enter through the red doors where you will be greeted by an usher. Restrooms can be found out the sanctuary door taking a left at the end of the hallway. If you arrive early and the worship team or choir is still practicing, not to worry, come on in! When you arrive for Christian Education please enter through the double doors under the portico and we will direct you to the appropriate room. For those needing handicapped accessibility to the sanctuary, simply enter through the side doors under the portico. Our restrooms are handicap accessible, as is our sanctuary.
What other ways can I participate?
