What do you do at Ashland?
I’m the band leader and the lead guitarist of the worship band. I’m here to make every song ring beauty, whether through lush harmonies or cascading, singable melodies for everyone to enjoy.
Why do you do what you do?
The reason I do what I do is to provide a connection through the powerful medium of music. I’ve seen music touch peoples? lives in ways verbal expression couldn’t break through to them. Witnessing that experience alone is truly inspiring.
Why Ashland?
I think the biggest reason(s) I chose to work at Ashland is that they value the importance of a vibrant community. One that carries nurture; growth; and being supportive of each other during relevant times.
Talk to me about?
Music – all kinds! From New Orleans Jazz to Chicago Blues; Romantic piano music to modern day Rock n Roll, and everything in between. Where to find the best bagels – Bottoms Up Bagels ;). Pushing forward during troubling times. Poetry. Coffee. Hiking. Food! Thrifting! Community outreach.
When I’m not at ashland, you’ll likely find me at…
Somewhere that has live music! Playing music around Baltimore, taking long hikes with my pup, coffee shops, music/record stores, book stores, working at farmers markets, or reading under the sun.
