The Ashland Church
APRIL 2008
Thank You Saturday April 5 the Ashland Youth group raised poverty awareness by participating in Cardboard City, and slept in cardboard shelters for the night to simulate homelessness. Saturday night, Eric Ruhl and the Contemporary Worship Team led a service with the youth and supporters on the church parking lot. Thanks to the generosity of church members and the Ashland Community we were able to deliver a van packed with bedding, clothing and food to Bea Gaddy's Family Center in East Baltimore, where the supplies were sorely needed. Here's a photo of the group gathered for worship. More photos are posted here.
