“Some of us walk into Advent tethered to our unresolved yesterdays the pain still stabbing; the hurt still throbbing. It’s not that we don’t know better; it’s just that we can’t stand up anymore by ourselves. On the way to Bethlehem, will you give us a hand?” — Ann Weems

Welcome to our Blue Christmas Service, a time set aside to aknowledge the difficulty of the holiday season in the midst of the joy and cheer. This year more than ever, as we are unable to have our traditional Christmases, we are all in need of a space to grieve.

Wherever you are, or whatever you are going through, monumental or mundane, you are welcome here. This Service will center around our Advent Wreath, if you would like to participate in the liturgy of candle lighting please gather 4 candles or your wreath as well as a way to light them. These candles are optional and in no way necessary for participating in the service.

Let us worship God together:
