Ashland Cardboard City
November 2008

The youth group spent a long night in cardboard houses on Ashland's parking lot to better understand the problems of homelessness.  Eric talked to the group about teen homelessness; you can learn more at http://www.homelessyouthamongus.org/ .

Thanks to donations from the church and community the group was able to provide Our Daily Bread, Christopher's Place and St. Vincent de Paul with food, blankets, jackets, sweaters, new men's coats from Joseph Banks and lots of seasonings from McCormick!
