Rev. Shannon MeachamOn January 8, we welcomed Reverend Shannon Meacham as our installed Pastor when she was unanimously approved by Ashland members in a special congregational meeting.

Sunday January 29 - Like it spicy or five alarm? Beans or no beans? Prepare for our next Ashland Chili Cook-off! The party starts at 12:00 noon in the Fellowship Hall. Come prepared with your pot of chili, favorite cornbread or dessert. Look for the sign up in the church hall in 2012. Contact Clary Simmonds with questions.

CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

The regular Annual Meeting of the Congregation will take place on Sunday, January 29th, immediately following the 11 a.m. service. At that time we will receive annual reports from committees and boards and will address other business as needed. All active members are encouraged to attend; inactive members and friends are always welcome. During worship that morning, we will also ordain and install new officers.

Sunday Special Music

The Kuzniks will be our special performers on Sunday, February 19th at the 11:00 a.m. worship service.

Bible Study & Sunday School

Christian Education Classes are at 10:00 a.m.  There is a class for everyone. 

On the Calendar for Presbyterian Women:

Join other Presbyterian Women who participate in the fun and fellowship that sharing a Bible Study can provide, please note the meetings are held the 2nd Monday of each month September through May at 12:30 p.m. in members' homes. If you are an Ashland Presbyterian Church woman, you are welcome and needed in this shared learning experience. This year's study is "Confessing the Beatitudes". Contact Susan Williams, Moderator, throught the church office for materials to participate in this study of the "Best Book Ever."

These APC women support scholarships in Guatemala, the washing/social mission in Cabaiguan, Cuba, the Prayer Shawl Ministry, Sarah's Hope, etc. etc. Join us!
